Drop in and browse an abundance of colourful arts and crafts in the gallery shop, lovingly created by locals of the Pioneer Valley. Enjoy delicious food and drinks from the Whistlestop Coffee Cart, and take in the fresh feels of the country surrounds.

We’re Bottletops and Brushes! A friendly bunch who run hands-on art entertainment for everyone, including complete art novices across the Mackay regions and surrounds. With a beer (or wine) in one hand, and a paintbrush in the other, your hosts Margaret-Mary and Mark will guide you through creating a piece of art you can be proud of.

Artspace Mackay is a regional art gallery owned and operated by Mackay Regional Council. It is an ideal entry point to the unique culture and creativity of the Mackay region. Artspace has three impressive, contemporary gallery spaces and hosts exhibitions by local, Australian and international artists. The Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre (MECC) is the largest convention and banqueting facility between Cairns and Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia. This state-of-the-art $29 million facility comprises multiple versatile spaces including a 1090 seat auditorium and two plenary halls which, when fully extended, seat 1500 delegates theatre style or 800 guest banquet style. There are four meeting rooms, a 100 seat studio space, two foyers, a selection of break-out rooms, a dedicated event planner's office and a registration desk. The facility hosts approximately 100 live performances annually, as well as 100 community and school events, in addition to business events.
